Altus Global Trade Solutions (Altus) was recently selected by insideARM as one of the Best Places to Work in Collections for 2016. This is the 2nd year in a row that Altus has been selected.

As the leading independent news and information provider for the collections industry, insideARM conducts more than 40 local, national and industry “Best Places” programs each year, which are administered by Best Companies Group.

“We are honored to be selected as the highest ranked commercial agency in the large agency category,” said Altus President/CEO Tom Brenan. “This prestigious recognition reflects the importance we place on creating a work environment that supports an exemplary quality-of-life for our associates along with meaningful opportunities for professional growth.”

This survey and award program was designed to identify and recognize the best places of employment in the collections industry. The award is divided into three size categories: small companies (15-49 employees); medium-size companies (50-149 employees); and large companies (150+ employees).

Companies from across the United States competed in the rigorous two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics. The second part surveyed employees to measure satisfaction with the workplace environment. The combined scores determined the final ranking.

Stephanie Eidelman, chief executive officer of insideARM, said, “This has been a terrific program for the industry over the past nine years. It’s so important to celebrate what’s positive and acknowledge it. Just like any other industry, collections is comprised of human beings who value connection, opportunity for advancement, healthy company culture, and a good relationship with their supervisor.”
